THE MATERIAL

A different kind
of badge.

PVC badges are made from polyvinyl chloride, a flexible plastic moulded into coloured shapes and raised details. You may also see them called PVC patches or rubber patches.

Embroidery builds a design with stitched thread; PVC creates a smooth, dimensional surface. Before ordering, think about where the badge will go, its finished size and which details need to stay legible.

    Choose your options

    Select a quantity and backing on the product page. Physical batches range from 5 to 500 patches; digital samples and mould fees are listed separately.

    Send your artwork

    Email your crest, logo or design to orders@cadetstore.ca. Include the size, quantity, backing and any event deadline.

  3. 03

    Approve your proof

    Review the design, spelling and details in your digital proof. Production begins once you approve it.

What is the minimum order for PVC badges?

The minimum is 5 physical patches. The product page offers batches up to 500 patches.

How long does PVC badge production take?

Production takes 2–4 weeks. This is production time, so discuss shipping and your required delivery date with us before placing an event order.

Is the displayed price for a patch or a batch?

Physical patch prices are per selected batch. The $1.30 CAD option is a digital sample, not a finished badge. A mould fee is listed separately. Check the selected option and confirm the total for your design before ordering.

Can I use my own crest or logo?

Yes. Email your crest, logo or original artwork to orders@cadetstore.ca. Include the intended size and check that you have permission to use the design. You’ll approve a digital proof before production.

Which backing works with an existing loop panel?

Choose hook only if your gear already has a loop panel. Choose hook and loop when you also need the matching loop piece. Sew-on, iron-on and peel-and-stick options are also available.
